How to use free printable
My favorite way to make easy labels is using these Avery 2 inch printable stickers. I keep them on hand for projects like these kitchen pantry labels or cookies in a jar labels.
My free printables are already formatted for this particular label, so it’s as easy as downloading the PDF or WORD doc and printing them out. I’ve already done all the heavy lifting for you!
Scalloped circle labels
If you want to make these labels a little fancier, I highly suggest you use one of these 2.5″ scalloped or circle punch. I have used it for many projects, including these fun birthday cupcake toppers.
For a quick and easy label, print out the 2 inch labels on white cardstock and punch out each design in a scalloped circle. Use a small hole punch to add a hole that you can string a ribbon or twine through to attach to your packaged hot cocoa bombs.
If you want to make it a bit fancier, print the labels out on stickers and then punch out a scalloped circles in colored cardstock. Attach the stickers to the scalloped circles for a more colorful design.
Easy hot cocoa bomb printed labels
If you are looking for the easiest option, then you can simply print out our page of 12 instruction labels on paper or cardstock. Cut them out in squares and add them to your packaged hot cocoa bombs.
I prefer printing labels on cardstock for a heavier duty tag. You can add cardstock to just about any printer. Just be sure to avoid pearlescent papers as they don’t hold ink well.
An added bonus to these easy tags is that you can use the back of the large labels to write a little note to your loved ones.

What issues are you running into? Are they not lining up?
Kim says
Hi! I was wondering if there is an editable version? I really love this design, but it says to microwave milk for 90 seconds. Each microwave is different and that may be too much time. So i would like to just edit it to say “Pour in hot milk” 🙂
Danielle Green says
Hi Kim, unfortunately these labels aren’t able to be edited because they were created in Photoshop. I did however think your suggestion was great, so I added an alternative label with just 3 steps that doesn’t say how long to heat the milk. Hope they work for you!

Hi there! It seems like both standard lables are the square sized files and not the 2 inch files made for a scallop punch…wish I realized that before spending $40 on printing these out lol also noticed after I printed that the instructions are “1,2,3,3” and not “1,2,3,4” 🙁
Danielle Green says
I apologize for the mistake! I printed so many of these labels myself and clearly photographed them with 1,2,3,3 and never noticed. 🤦♀️ I have updated all the labels to have the accurate step numbers.

Love love love them!
It looks like the standard labels links both go to square winter/holiday
Danielle Green says
I believe they were updated. The standard ones are winter/snowflake themed and the Valentine ones have hearts.

Thank you so much for these adorable tags! Going to go the extra mile and purchase a scalloped cutter like you suggested. Beautiful photos by the way!
Danielle Green says
You are so welcome! I have actually gotten a variety of use from that scalloped punch over the years making different tags, so I hope you find it useful as well.
Alexa says
I LOVE these adorable labels you made.
It looks like the link to the square valentine labels is actually the winter ones??
Danielle Green says
Thanks so much for pointing that out. I have fixed it!
