Healthy Chocolate & Banana Quesadilla is a quick and simple, 3-ingredient recipe that is loaded with 8 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber to fill you up and leave your sweet-tooth satisfied! This crispy tortilla is filled with bananas and Justin’s Chocolate Almond Butter for an amazing breakfast or snack that the whole family will love.
If your goal in the New Year is to eat healthier, this quesadilla is a wonderful compromise for something sweet and satisfying. Instead of reaching for a candy bar or cookies that will leave you feeling hungry, whip up one of these easy quesadillas to satisfy your sweet craving. It has the perfect balance of sweetness from bananas and chocolate, with a hint of saltiness from the almond butter.
Nutella has been all the rage for the last few years, and while it does taste pretty good, it is loaded with sugar, 21 grams per serving in fact! It also falls short in many other departments. Justin’s Chocolate Almond Butter has 3X more fiber, 2.5X more protein and almost half the carbs compared to Nutella! That alone makes it a winner for me, but the taste actually wins out as well. Instead of the sticky sweet Nutella, Justin’s has a slightly sweet and salty flavor that is much better in my opinion.
When strawberries are in season, feel free to throw some in the quesadilla with the bananas for a fun variation.

Nope, I just love their product! If you are a reader of my blog, you will notice that anytime I work with a brand sponsorship, I clearly mention that at the beginning of the post to be completely transparent. Nothing to hide here! 😉

How is that a quesadilla if there’s no cheese. Literally the word quesadilla is a mashup of the word “queso” (cheese) and “tortilla.” adding a bunch of stuff to a tortilla does not make it a quesadilla.
