Dulce de Leche Dessert Nachos is a quick and easy dessert recipe with crunchy cinnamon sugar pita chips, ice cream, fresh fruit and decadent dulce de leche drizzle for a sweet treat you will be dying to get more of! The season is finally changing and fruit is starting to come around. No longer do we have to suffer with hard, bland strawberries, but instead can enjoy them as sweet as nature intended them to be.
I used strawberries and Granny Smith apples with my dessert nachos, but you could easily swap out the fruit for whatever you have on hand. Whether you add bananas, kiwi, pineapple or raspberries, just don’t forget the best part, Dulce de Leche! I prefer this homemade one ingredient Dulce de Leche, but you could certainly use the store-bought version as well.
With temperatures reaching into the 60s here in Minnesota everyone is feeling like it is summer. After suffering through months of sub-zero temps, we are happy with anything above freezing. So when it gets this warm we feel like it is tropical outside! This fun and fruity dessert is the perfect treat for these beautiful spring days that are coming our way.
