I am so excited that we are enjoying another long and beautiful fall here in MN. I know it’s probably due to global warming, which is horrible and all, but dang it sure is nice enjoying 60 degree days in October as opposed to 2 feet of snow and sub-zero temps like we did as children! I remember far too many Halloweens where we were bundled from head to toe in snowsuits, covering our precious costumes, and trecking through deep snow. It seems like it has been a very long time since that has been the case here…which I’m not complaining about!
We anxiously watch the weather forecast, waiting for it to turn on us, but so far so good. In the mean time we can continue to enjoy food from all seasons! Salads with the temps still being warm, but comfort food with the cold weather looming.
