After gouging on turkey and dressing during the big day, most people want a few days off from it. That’s why I love changing things up with an easy recipe using up leftovers.
Easy Slider Recipe
I first made these sliders when my brother and his boys stopped by my house to watch the football game. I had some leftover turkey from this Easy Roasted Turkey I had made a few days prior, so I was looking for ways to use it up.
When I was grocery shopping I grabbed some store-bought cranberry relish and Hawaiian rolls to make these sliders. When I got home I realized that my family had eaten the rest of the turkey!
Can I use store bought sliced deli turkey?
I was too excited about the idea of these sliders so I grabbed some thick carved deli turkey at the store the next day. Any turkey would work great on these sliders and leftover rotisserie chicken would be another great option.
I assembled the sliders with the cranberries, Havarti and topped them with a butter, Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mixture.
I wasn’t sure if my family would be a big fan because it stepped ever so slightly outside of the box, but after my brother was piling his fifth slider into his mouth while asking how difficult these would be for him to make, I realized I definitely had a winner on my hands!
As for his question to how easy these are to make, the answer is CRAZY EASY!
More easy leftover turkey recipes!
If you are anything like my family, you make a turkey twice the size needed for your holiday dinner. It is the absolute worst to run out of food, so we always ensure we won’t.
This results in an abundance of leftover turkey though. Too much to just keep eating dry and boring turkey sandwiches for the next week. So turn that leftover turkey into an amazing meal you will love. Check out some more of these great recipe ideas!

Oh this looks so good! I have everything on hand except the Havarti cheese….. is there another cheese that you think would work as well?
Danielle Green says
Any white cheese would work fine like provolone or white cheddar.
