Crock Pot BBQ Turkey Kielbasa & Pineapple
It’s that time of year with the hustle and bustle of school that we want nothing more than to get a quick and easy dinner on the table with minimal effort. This Crock Pot BBQ Turkey Kielbasa & Pineapple is just what you have been looking for! With only three ingredients, this simple weeknight recipe can be tossed in your slow cooker before you leave for work and when you get home just pop a bag of rice in the microwave for a side and dinner is on the table in less than 5 minutes!
I kept this crock pot dish on the lighter side with Jennie-O Hardwood Smoked Turkey Kielbasa which has much less fat that traditional Kielbasa. It’s such a great option for a hearty dish with a fraction of the fat. Paired with a spicy BBQ sauce and big chunks of pineapple, this recipe is a great balance of sweet and spicy. Serve it up with a bag of rice or a baked potato and your family will be happy campers and you can feel good about what you are serving.
The best part of this dish is that it doubles as an easy game day appetizer! Make this up a few hours before your gathering and you have an incredibly simple party bite. Grab some toothpicks and skewer up a piece of Turkey Kielbasa with Pineapple or let your guests do it themselves. Either way, it is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
I know when I am hosting a casual get-together or just looking for some quick and simple food to make for the football game, I am looking for EASY! It really doesn’t get any easier than tossing three ingredients in your crock pot and letting it cook for a couple hours. Set it and forget it meals are the best!
