This easy BBQ Peach Sheet Pan Pizza is a delicious and simple 30 minute dinner recipe bursting with amazing flavors!
30 Minute Sheet Pan Dinner
Sometimes you just need a quick 30 minute dinner on the table for the family and can’t make everything from scratch. There is nothing wrong with using store-bought ingredients to save time.
Some of my go-to 30 minute recipes include Chicken Enchiladas using pre-cooked ground chicken, Tuna Rice Muffins using a pouch of cooked rice and Crispy Buffalo Chicken Salad using frozen chicken tenders.
Homemade or Store bought crust?
While homemade pizza crust is fantastic, I typically resort to a tube of Pillsbury thin crust pizza. It is surprisingly good and holds up really well to the rich toppings on this BBQ Peach Sheet Pan Pizza.
It takes about two minutes to pop the tube of pizza open and stretch it out onto the sheet pan. The best part is that I can keep a tube in the refrigerator for up to a month for making pizza on a whim. This Taco Pizza is a particular favorite in our house.
It is important that you par bake the crust before topping it with the BBQ Pork and peaches. This will ensure that it cooks through evenly and while it is baking for 8 minutes, you can prep your other ingredients.
The end result is a nice and crispy bottom that doesn’t leave you with a floppy piece of pizza, but it still has a nice chewy texture on the inside.
Pork or Chicken?
I used pulled pork on this BBQ Peach Sheet Pan Pizza but shredded chicken would be a great option as well. Shred up some rotisserie chicken for the same great end result.
The recipe calls for 2 cups of shredded meat and 1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce. This is assuming that the pulled pork or shredded chicken isn’t already sauced.
If you have leftover BBQ pork or chicken, just leave out the extra sauce this recipe calls for. I just like saucing my own meat so it isn’t overdone. I’m not a big fan of overly saucy BBQ pork myself.
What BBQ sauce should I use?
This recipe can use just about any BBQ sauce. Feel free to use whatever your favorite go-to sauce that you have on hand. From sweet to spicy or a little bit of both, it will all work well and add a little more flavor to the sheet pan pizza.
I personally have been liking the Famous Dave’s Sweet & Zesty BBQ Sauce. I know the hard core BBQ fans are probably rolling their eyes at me, but I like the thick sauce with a little spice in it.
Can I used canned peaches?
This BBQ Peach Pizza really is best with fresh peaches. They add a nice flavor and texture to the pizza that canned peaches won’t.
With that said, canned peaches will work if fresh peaches aren’t in season. I would recommend adding them to the pizza just 5 minutes before it is done baking. They are already softer and you don’t want them to become mushy from baking the entire 15 minutes.
What cheese should I use on BBQ pizza?
While you can certainly use a pizza blend, I highly recommend shredding your own cheese. This is the one thing I really think is worth the extra time to skip the store-bought option.
I opted for Havarti cheese. It is a creamy cheese that melts really well and has a nice sharp flavor that really adds to the simple ingredients in this BBQ Peach Sheet Pan Pizza.
If you don’t have Havarti on hand, shredded sharp Cheddar would work great too. Mozzarella is another option with a bit less flavor that will allow the peaches to really be the star of the show.

Peaches aren’t just for desserts! While they are amazing in some of my favorite recipes like Marshmallow Peach Icebox Dessert and Peach Pie, they are fantastic in savory dinner recipes as well!

Little surprised at the use of Pilsbury for the crust. Have you examined the ingredient list? Yikes! Look at Bob’s Red Mill. They have a gluten free with identifiable ingredients and some actual nutrition instead of low dose poison.
