Caramelized Bacon & Apples
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 3 baking apples peeled and sliced
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
Instructions
- Dice bacon into small 1/2 inch pieces.
- In a large skillet over medium high heat, saute the bacon for 3 to 4 minutes, or until it just starts to crisp up.
- Remove half of the bacon fat and set aside for another use.
- Add the brown sugar, cinnamon and apples to the pan. Saute for 4-5 minutes over medium heat until the apples are cooked but still have a tiny crisp left on the inside.
- Serve over your favorite breakfast, sweet or piece of meat!
