Whether I just grill up a peach and serve it with ice cream, top a bowl of cottage cheese with the fresh fruit or whip up one of these amazing Sweet & Savory Peach Recipes, it is sure to be a winning dish!

While peaches are often touted as being great in desserts and sweet recipes, they are equally delicious in savory meals as well. My personal favorite is the grilled peach, goat cheese and pecan salad. It is a summer staple that is to die for! Pork also pairs wonderfully with the sweet fruit among so many other creative ideas we have shared below.

What are the best peaches?

Peach season is my favorite fruit season of all! A fresh sweet peach is like nothing else. Elberta peaches are my personal favorite and when they arrive by the crate at the local grocery store, I am sure to snatch some up! They are always juicy and, sweet and have the perfect texture.

Many of the other peaches you grab at the grocery store can be woody, hard and difficult to peel. I’ve never had any of those issues with Elberta peaches.

Whether you are baking, cooking or eating them whole, I highly recommend you get your hands on some of these fantastic peaches.
