Ingredients
8
oz.
Havarti cheese
in ¾-inch cubes
8
oz.
sharp cheddar cheese
in ¾-inch cubes
4
oz.
Prosciutto
4
oz.
salami
1
cup
olives
1/2
pound
grapes - green
red or a variety of both
¼
cup
roasted almonds
Cherry tomatoes or cranberries
5
sprigs of rosemary for garnish - optional
Crackers and bread for serving - I like to include a variety of wheat
white, etc.
Instructions
Start with the base of the tree and add slices of salami in the shape of a large, flat trapezoid.
Next, add the olives in a slightly smaller trapezoid right above the salami, followed by the prosciutto above.
Add the cheeses above the meat and finish the top of the tree with grapes.
Add the almonds in a rectangle at the bottom of the cheese board to make the tree trunk.
Garnish the tree with sprigs of rosemary throughout the board and decorate with cherry tomatoes or cranberries to mimic ornaments on a tree.
Top with a cheese star and serve with crackers and bread.
Notes
Serve immediately or store refrigerated for up to 24 hours wrapped well in Saran wrap.
